This Privacy Policy explains how Leviation Ventures Private Limited ("Leviation," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you use our products and services, including Built, our AI-powered fitness companion on WhatsApp, and our forthcoming hardware product VEGA.

We've written this policy in plain language. If anything is unclear, write to us at hello@leviation.in and we'll explain.

1. Who We Are

Leviation Ventures Private Limited is a healthtech company registered in India under the Companies Act, 2013. Our products are designed for Indian college students, young professionals, and individuals seeking honest, evidence-based fitness and wellness guidance.

2. The Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide our services and improve them over time. We are committed to data minimization — if we don't need it, we don't ask for it.

2.1 Information You Provide

When you use Built, you provide us with information through your messages and interactions:

  • WhatsApp phone number. This is your unique identifier on Built. We use it to deliver responses to you and maintain conversation continuity across sessions.

  • Message content. The questions, responses, and information you share with Built — including topics related to fitness, training, nutrition, sleep, recovery, and your personal goals and challenges.

  • Profile information you choose to share. Examples include your weight, age, training experience, dietary preferences, fitness goals, schedule, and other context you provide to help Built personalize its responses.

  • Subscription and payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment details are collected and processed directly by Razorpay, our payment processor. We do not store your card or bank information; we only receive confirmation of payment status.

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you interact with Built, our systems automatically log:

  • Message metadata — timestamps, message IDs from WhatsApp, and session activity needed to deliver our service.

  • Conversation history — the record of your past exchanges with Built, stored so that responses remain contextual and consistent across sessions.

  • Aggregated usage patterns — non-identifying patterns we use to improve Built's performance, such as which kinds of questions are most common.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

To be explicit about what we don't collect:

  • We do not access your WhatsApp contacts, photos, or other content outside the messages you send to Built directly.

  • We do not collect your precise location — only what you may voluntarily share in your messages (e.g., "I'm at IIT Kanpur").

  • We do not collect financial information directly. Payments are processed by Razorpay under their own privacy policy.

  • We do not collect biometric data through Built. When VEGA launches, biometric data collection will be governed by a separate, more detailed privacy policy specific to the hardware product, with your explicit consent.


3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used for the following purposes:

3.1 Providing Built's Core Service

  • Generating personalized, evidence-based responses to your questions about fitness, nutrition, sleep, and recovery

  • Maintaining conversation continuity so Built remembers what you've shared in earlier messages

  • Adapting recommendations based on the context you've provided about your goals, schedule, equipment, and constraints

3.2 Improving Our Products

  • Analyzing aggregated, de-identified patterns to make Built's responses more accurate, helpful, and culturally relevant for Indian users

  • Identifying gaps in our knowledge base where Built's responses can be improved

  • Training and refining the systems that classify message intent (e.g., distinguishing a fitness question from a mental health concern that warrants different handling)

3.3 Communicating With You

  • Sending you responses to your messages

  • Notifying you about important account or service updates

  • Notifying you of material changes to this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Service

3.4 Safety, Legal, and Operational Purposes

  • Detecting and responding to abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service

  • Complying with legal obligations, court orders, or lawful requests from authorities

  • Protecting the safety of our users, including providing crisis resources when our systems detect signals of acute distress

3.5 What We Do Not Use Your Data For

We commit to the following:

  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

  • We do not use your conversation content to train third-party AI models outside our own internal use to improve Built.

  • We do not share individual conversation content with advertisers or any commercial third parties.


4. AI Processing — How Built Actually Works

We believe transparency about AI is essential. Here's what actually happens when you message Built:

  1. Your WhatsApp message is received by Twilio, which delivers it to our servers.

  2. Our system retrieves relevant context from our knowledge base using vector search powered by Voyage AI (an embedding service).

  3. The combined message and context are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI, which generates a response.

  4. The response is sanitized, logged for conversation continuity, and sent back to you via Twilio and WhatsApp.

Each of these service providers processes your data only as needed to perform their function, and each is bound by their own privacy commitments. We have selected providers who meet high standards of data protection. See Section 5 for details on each.

Important: Built is an AI assistant providing general fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle information. It is not a medical professional, licensed therapist, or substitute for qualified human advice. For medical, mental health, or other professional concerns, please consult appropriate professionals. Our Terms of Service describe these limitations in more detail.


5. Third-Party Service Providers


Built operates with the following third-party providers, each of whom processes some of your information to deliver our service:



We do not share your data with any other third parties for marketing, advertising, or unrelated business purposes.

6. Data Storage, Retention, and Security

6.1 Where Your Data Is Stored

Your conversation data and account information are stored in Supabase, hosted on infrastructure that meets industry-standard security practices, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Some of our service providers, including Anthropic, Voyage, and Supabase, are based outside India. By using Built, you consent to your data being processed in these jurisdictions, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

6.2 How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion (see Section 7), we delete your conversation history, profile information, and account identifiers from our systems within 30 days. Some operational logs may be retained longer for legal compliance, security, or accounting purposes — never longer than required by law.

6.3 How We Protect Your Data

  • All data is encrypted in transit using TLS

  • Data at rest is encrypted using industry-standard encryption

  • Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis

  • We conduct security reviews of our systems and our third-party providers

  • We use two-factor authentication on all administrative accounts

No security system is perfect. If we ever experience a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and applicable privacy laws elsewhere, you have the following rights:

7.1 Right to Access

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. We'll provide it within 30 days in a readable format.

7.2 Right to Correction

If any information we hold is inaccurate, you can request correction.

7.3 Right to Deletion ("Right to Be Forgotten")

You can request that we delete your data. We will delete your conversation history, profile, and account identifiers within 30 days of receiving your verified request, except where retention is required by law.

7.4 Right to Data Portability

You can request your data in a portable, machine-readable format that allows you to take it to another service.

7.5 Right to Withdraw Consent

You can stop using Built at any time. To completely delete your account and data, follow the deletion process above.

7.6 Right to Grievance Redressal

If you believe we have not handled your data appropriately, you can file a complaint with us at leviation.in@gmail.com. If your concern is not resolved to your satisfaction, you have the right to escalate to the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act.

7.7 How to Exercise These Rights

Send an email to leviation.in@gmail.com with:

  • The right you wish to exercise

  • Verification of your identity (typically by emailing from an address associated with your account or providing your WhatsApp number)

  • Any specific details about your request

We will respond within 30 days. We do not charge a fee for exercising your rights.

8. Children's Privacy

Built is designed for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18. If we discover we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information to Built, please contact us at hello@leviation.in and we will take immediate action.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or for clarity. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy

  • Notify active users via WhatsApp or email at least 30 days before significant changes take effect

  • Make the previous version available upon request

Your continued use of Built after we publish updates constitutes acceptance of the changes.

10. International Users

Built is primarily designed for users in India. If you are accessing Built from outside India, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in India and in the locations of our service providers. By using Built, you consent to this transfer.

Where applicable, we honor data protection rights granted under laws of other jurisdictions (such as GDPR in the European Union), in addition to those granted under Indian law.
